About Us
Why We Exist
Deacon & Alec was born from a personal experience that changed the way our Founder understands care.
When our Founder was young, his father suffered a workplace accident that left him unable to walk or work. During his recovery at home, a community home-based care aide provided wound care and day-to-day support.
It was during this period that his father experienced a minor stroke. A few weeks later, he suffered a major stroke that required several days in intensive care.
The months that followed brought a new reality for the family. Recovery depended on the consistent involvement of family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals — all working together to support his needs at home.
That experience revealed a challenge faced by many families: quality home-based care can be difficult to coordinate, difficult to access, and overwhelming to manage alone.

Care Inspired by Family
Deacon & Alec is named in honour of our Founder's late father.
His journey became the inspiration behind our mission: to ensure that families do not have to navigate recovery, chronic illness, disability, or long-term care alone.
We bring together trusted healthcare professionals, structured care protocols, and coordinated home-based support to help families access quality healthcare in a familiar and comfortable environment.
Because home should not mean compromising on the quality of care.

References are checked. Training is current. We don't compromise — and neither should the families who trust us.
